NOKE KOI – KAMANAWA
TIMBAÚBA VILLAGE
Aldeia Timbaúba is a living territory on the banks of the Rio Gregório, in Acre, Brazil — a sacred space where the forest teaches, the community works together, and song leads the way. Under the leadership of Chief Paká Kamanawa, the village keeps deep roots in ancestral traditions while opening respectful paths of learning for those who arrive with attentive hearts.
Paká Kamanawa

Paká Kamanawa is a musician, activist, and young leader who guides his community with steady calm. He preserves sacred songs, strengthens collective organization, and ensures that every immersion happens in alliance with the forest. His commitment is that of a guardian: to protect culture, encourage youth education, and support projects that build autonomy and dignity for families.
Rurá Varinawá

By his side, Rurá Varinawá (People of the Sun) is an artist, craftswoman, and keeper of songs. With a firm voice and a healing presence, Rurá weaves tradition and contemporary creation — from crafts to guitar in prayer circles — inspiring other women to walk diets and learnings with discipline and humility. Her path, marked by dedication to forest medicines and studies with elder healers, illuminates the feminine role within spiritual and community processes.
